Modern Life is Rubbish by Blur (1993) Review

Modern Life is Rubbish...

Well, not really rubbish. Anyway, welcome to the second entry (of seven) of my 'The Great Blur Studio Albums Preview'. In case you are wondering why I am doing this, please check out this post:

This was Blur's second studio album released on May 10, 1993. This album perhaps introduced a new style or genre of music in the UK called 'Britpop'. Guitarist Graham Coxon said he doesn't like that word, but let me tell you, it changed music forever. Yes, Britpop isn't dead

The cover art for Modern Life is Rubbish is a Mallard steam train.

Leisure by Blur (1991) Review

Hello everyone! Today is my first entry of my 'The Great Blur Studio Albums Preview'. In case you are wondering why I am doing this, please check out this post:

Leisure (n) - use of free time for enjoyment

The album cover is same as the US and UK versions. It was said that the album cover was taken from a swimming cap ad from the 40's. Cool right?

The Great Blur Studio Albums Preview

Hello girls and boys, people around the world, and to my fellow Blur fans!

Today, I'll be announcing on my blog that I will post a review of each Blur's studio albums (I have all the seven except 'The Magic Whip') and I decided to review the albums one-by-one.

I've been longing to write a review of each of them ever since I started collection Blur's albums. As much as possible, I'd love to review every Blur item I had, and I find it cool 'cuz I like music from the 90's -- I mean, I think no one would ever review music two decades later nowadays, right?

So stay tuned as I post each of Blur's albums starting off with 'Leisure'. It might take a while to post it but I hope you'll appreciate it! Check this post often as I update the links down below as soon as I finished my posts! Thanks! 😊

Summer Playlist 2015

Summer's about to end (T___T), but worry not! It doesn't end 'cause I'm gonna accompany you with my favorite tracks to play every summer. (Well, not really every summer but most of the time.)

So we're back to my music segment in which I put my Spotify playlist here on my blog. Some of the tracks included in my playlist has a vibrant, 'summery' touch, and the tracks range from the 80's to 2000's. (Yep. I'm not into EDM music. It irritates my ears unless the bass line is oh-so-darn-great.) I hope you'll have a great time listening to my playlist. ^_^

PS: 'Girls and Boys' is the track that is so catchy, you'll love it. And, 'Island in the Sun' and 'Getcha Back' are best to listen to during sunset.

Drawing Masterpiece

3:53 am - Way too early to wake up at a time like this but I can't sleep so that's why. But I thought, instead of trying going back to sleep, 'why not write a blog about one of my favorite drawings I ever drew in my entire life?'. I was into drawing anime style sketches and other stuff since I was in elementary, and it's my somewhat talent. I thank God for making me have this talent as a gift but I don't consider myself an artist - just a casual one. I own a sketchpad in which lots of my drawings are there. I just draw something when I'm bored or if I really want to.

So today, I'd like to share my 'masterpiece'. A portrait of Van from the PlayStation One console (by Square Soft) video game called 'Chrono Cross'. It's my number one favorite game on the classic PS One console because of its story, accompany music or soundtrack, great characters, and rich graphics. I was just simply drawn on how amazing RPG this game was. Indeed. It's one of a kind. Ever.

I drew this back in 2013. At that time, I left it just with plain sketch like this photo below, only pencil sketches can be seen:
